thoughts at the theater

money isn't the root of all evil. hate is. insecurity is. life has nothing to do with the paycheck you receive. the fame you've accumulated. how many friends you have. life isn't about regretting the past, wishing to be the next big craze or even being the best dressed. these are all things we've created. society creates beauty, right & wrong, the way you should walk, talk and be. it's about waking up and appreciating every morning, observing the beauty of nature, the rawness of the human soul. it's about not viewing imperfections. rather embracing life lessons. telling stories, listening to your surroundings and lots, and lots of laughing. we get so clouded by fame, greed & the thought of permanence. everything changes. leaves fall, hearts break, people grow, cities burn. but out of these changes, rising from the ashes like a phoenix, we become smarter, we build better, we learn from the past. stop and open your ears up to the knowledge of our ancestors. we endure the same human needs, wants and desires. when we are young we mush aside the distant future - as if growing old is too far away. wake up to the idea of growing gray, and don't be afraid of your weathered self. we must shed the skin we paste onto our faces, return to the basics and revitalize the self. life is about being here int he moment and being happy. we can look forward to tomorrow, but it must not rule us because no matter how exciting we thing it is. it probably isn't what we expect. don't wast this gift of time - we never know when it will end. life isn't about categorizing, rather it's about prioritizing and noticing the differences and accepting them. beauty will always be around us, everywhere. beauty is the natural. can't you see? let it go. stop holding onto the things that don't exist. be free. be flexible. your heart know what's right. no matter how much work goes into something, be okay with walking away if you discover it's not real. never give up when you know... because when you know, you know. people are starving. how are we okay with that? it's all about walking, walking forward with friends. the only answers are the ones we create. believe.
